My name is Margot. I hold an LPN license and just completed 8 years in home care for a woman with Alzheimer's. In addition to delivering care, I also managed a staff of 5 and all aspects of the home and grounds. The staff and I managed tracking forms. We tracked sleep, mood, diet intake, PRN medications as well as bowel and urine output.
This wonderful woman was able to go out each day and enjoy lunch with occasional light shopping until the end. Her safety and happiness were paramount. I managed her medical care, as well as doctor and dental appointments.
Eight years ago I started working 10am to 5pm, 5 days a week. As time progressed it was necessary to add a second person. Then 7 days a week with 24 hour care. I understand the difficulty of family in-home-care and how invasive it can be to your personal privacy. Not only is care, safety and happiness of your loved one paramount, your personal space is also critical.
Service Abilities: LPN, Distributing medications, bathing, tube feeding, colostomy care, management of medical care, dental care, reporting and staffing. I have a dependable vehicle which is fully insured. I am available for Louisville and Southern Indiana.
